1. Eligibility

Open to all residents of India aged 18 years and above.
Applicants must demonstrate a genuine connection to their local community (through residence, roots, or proven contribution).

2. Selection Process

My Local Dost (MLD) reserves the sole right to review applications, assign tasks, and select participants or winners.
Selection will be based on content quality, authenticity, originality, and alignment with MLD's values.
MLD's decision will be final and binding.

3. Content Ownership & Usage Rights

Creators retain full intellectual property rights to all content they produce.
By submitting or creating content for the program, creators grant MLD a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, publish, distribute, and promote the content across all digital, print, and promotional platforms, with due creator credit.
MLD may use the content for marketing, editorial, and archival purposes without additional approval.

4. Complimentary Stay Benefit

The 10-day complimentary stay is valid across MLD partner properties for one (1) calendar year from the date of confirmation.
Maximum 3 consecutive nights per booking, subject to prior reservation and property availability.
The benefit is non-transferable, cannot be resold, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other compensation.
MLD reserves the right to withdraw or modify the benefit if misuse is detected.

5. Paid Collaborations

Paid projects will be compensated as per MLD's standard creator rates or mutually agreed terms for specific assignments.
Payments will be processed only after MLD's approval of final deliverables that meet agreed quality standards and guidelines.
All taxes, if applicable, shall be borne by the creator unless otherwise stated.

6. Code of Conduct

Participants must represent their community and MLD responsibly.
Any form of plagiarism, misrepresentation, offensive behavior, or violation of community or environmental ethics may lead to immediate disqualification.
Participants are expected to uphold values of respect, authenticity, sustainability, and cultural sensitivity.

7. Right to Modify, Suspend, or Terminate

MLD reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate the program, benefits, or terms at any time without prior notice.
In case of such changes, MLD shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from participation shall be governed by the laws of India.
The courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
