About the Eco Stay & Experience
Welcome Home to Luxury that cares — for You and the Planet.
Perched atop a quiet hill surrounded by forest, farm, and village life, Adi's Homestead overlooks the serene Sattal Lake — a bird-lover’s paradise and a sanctuary for the soul. Here, mornings begin with golden sunrises and a comforting cup of tea, while evenings melt into mesmerizing sunsets that paint the valley below. Coupled with our happy kitchen, where lovingly prepared home-cooked meals are served with warmth and generosity, this truly feels like home.
Our home, designed by award-winning architects and curated under our mum’s loving eye, features three serene bedrooms and open, sunlit spaces — a living room, patio, garden lawn, and endless green trails — offering a stay that’s relaxed, rooted in nature, and deeply personal.
Ideal for adults only, the place gives you (and perhaps your partner) the well-deserved break that brings you back to you.
And if it’s friendship that calls, gather your closest friends, pour a drink, and walk down memory lane together — this home was made for easy laughter and unhurried joy.
The service here is easy-going yet attentive, reflecting the spirit of old-world hospitality — discreet, warm, and eager to please. Whether you choose to read under a tree, sip chai on the patio, or simply gaze into the endless greens, this is the perfect place to practice the art of doing nothing.

0 Trees
0 Buckets Water
0% Less CO2
This is possible because our local dost (Adnan Vahanvaty) has made sure that the property fulfils the following Eco-Sustainable travel criteria:
This property scores 4.1/5 on MylocalDost’s Sustainable Criteria — a reflection of its commitment to conscious living. From supporting local livelihoods to protecting nature, every choice here is creating real, lasting impact. Here’s How:
Supports Local Communities & Cultures
The farm is powered entirely by locals — from 100% local staff to ingredients sourced nearby. By employing people from nearby villages to offering skill training, and partnering with NGOs, this place uplifts the community, preserves heritage, and ensures the benefits of tourism reach those who call this land, Home.
Green Environment & Biodiversity Conservation
No trees were cut building the place — instead, over 6,000 were planted to regenerate an entire forest. With 90% green cover, natural-material construction, organic gardening, and solar lighting, every choice here safeguards wildlife, nurtures biodiversity, and preserves the untouched beauty and peace of the land.
Air & Water Quality
Rainwater harvesting & water flow reducers honor water as a precious resource. Eco-friendly cleaning, non-toxic pest control, and native mosquito-repelling plants reflect deep respect for nature’s balance and ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for all who live and visit here.
Waste Management
Waste is minimized at the source through reusables, composting, and segregation. Organic waste enriches the farm’s soil through composting, while refillable bottles replace plastic. Every practice ensures that nothing valuable is wasted and that the land remains as pure as the day it was found.
Temperature & Energy Management
Well ventilated spacious rooms with large bay windows, and eco-friendly architecture keep spaces naturally cool and bright. Every detail—from passive design to minimal artificial lighting—reduces energy consumption and keeps guests attuned to the rhythms of nature.
Travel & Transportation
Located close to public transport facilities, the farm encourages guests to explore on foot or through short hikes. Its thoughtful layout minimizes the need for vehicles, helping preserve the clean air, quiet trails, and natural serenity of this fragile mountain ecosystem.
Food & Guest Experience
From barefoot forest walks and refreshing waterfall dips to yoga, sound healing, and organic meals, guests slow down, reconnect, and live in harmony with nature. Every meal celebrates local, seasonal produce, while every activity brings deeper connection to the land, culture, and mindful living.
Education on Sustainable Living
Built on conscious living, it follows responsible practices in water, waste, and energy management. Here, sustainability isn’t taught — it’s lived, effortlessly. Every stay becomes a gentle reminder that comfort and care for the planet can beautifully coexist.
