The one-of-its-kind, the Butter Holi Festival is going to be held at Dayara Bugyal, Village Raithal, Uttarakhand on 17th August 2018. This is an amazing fest that holds resemblance to the famous Tomatina Festival but this one is with butter and with unique traditional values attached to it.
The locals of the neighboring villages who leave their cattle for grazing at the Bugyal during monsoons return to get the cattle back, and as thanks-giving to the Lord for taking care of the cattle and keeping them healthy, celebrate the unique and famous Butter Holi festival. So, come and be a part of this event and play butter holi with locals like locals.
